15 GA OLB/RB Eric Swinney

Dude is on one of the most loaded offenses in the entire country. He is very good, he's not one of the top backs in the country for the class of '15, these early recruiting rankings are ridiculous. Again this is high school football not the university of Georgia. If you are going to make comparisons like that then you should probably just stop now.

who said it was UGA? those are their highschool numbers. they split carries with other backs too. you should stop now with your Vonn Bell is holier than thou speak

In all fairness Marshall really isn't that good. I agree with you though POA. Swinney looks to be a good prospect

I'm just telling you, Vonn Bell wasn't a 5-star safety because of his physicality and he knocked the hell out of this guy just like this guy ran him over.

never said he didnt. you basically said Swinney isnt that good, and Vonn Bell was a better prospect. Which you cant compare yet, since Swinney is 2 years behind Bell. I dont even think Bell played when he was a SO. (not positive on that though)

Right, but he wasn't really ever that good to me, especially in college. I guess hindsight doesn't work in this situation though.

he was actually predicted to start over Gurley when they were being recruited. i posted Marshalls rating, because as sophomores, Swinney actually has better numbers, and it shows you were he could end up when its all said and done

Right I'm on your side. Just saying in hindsight Marshall is a good backup in the SEC at best.

I think Vonn Bell was a lot younger than this guy when he was a Sophomore and honestly I dont think he is much older right now. I'm not sure that this guy isn't maxed out. I guess we will see.

27 D-1 head coaches disagree.

There have been a lot of prospects that have been highly recruited that turned out to be absolute busts. The only way Stanton Truitt is going to be a solid FBS player is if he decided to go to Gerorgia Southern or somewhere. Not predicting the same for Swinney but definitely don't think he is at the level people are claiming.

im not positive, but i think Swinney is still 15. i remember seeing something on twitter

Lol, dude is just starting his true sophomore year. Way too early to be making in hindsight comments.
He's never going to start at UGA unless Gurley declares early or gets kicked off the team. I don't see how my comment is untrue in any way

You said he is a backup in the SEC at best not that he is a backup at UGA at best. Gurley is a very good back, being backup to him does not mean that you would be a backup elsewhere in the SEC.

this. he would start at UT if we had him. same with Vandy, UK, Mizzou, Miss St., SCAR, TAMU, and Arkansas.. IMO

Definitely not at TAMU probably not at Scar too. I doubt he would start at UT this year either. He would be 2a/2b with Lane.

I'm not really too sure on everyone's depth chart, but it doesn't take away from my opinion.

statistically, Marshall had a better year last year than Lane did. and Lane was behind a better OL

Marshalls Freshman year - 117- 759- 6.5
Lanes So year- 120- 658- 5.5

Our OL was average at best at run blocking. Listen to the Media Day interviews. Tiny and Ju'Wuan both say the weakness of the line is run blocking.

The plus is they are the best in the country at pass protection.
