Just imagine this play, Dormady at qb, North, Malone, Gibson and Williams at wr. Snap the ball to Dormady, and it's a reverse to North, no it's a double reverse to Gibson, he is looking to pass, he has a man open down the sidelines, it is Preston Williams, Gibson fires to Williams, hit him in stride, he is at the 20, at the 10, and into the Checkerboards :loco::)

Exactly, those were some great throws. I haven't seen his film until now but that was extremely impressive. Against great competition as well. Wow. I want to see this kid play for the Vols.

You guys are really worrying too much about this. Dormady is a QB. That's fine. UT needed to recruit two QB's in this class.

The other two's concerns can be simply met with this argument: If you come here and need to move to WR because you could not beat out the other guy at QB then did you have a future at QB to start with? Neither of these two guys have to worry about being limited to the QB position. IOW's, they don't have to worry about each other or Dormady. The only one of the 3 who doesn't have another really good option outside of QB is Dormady... but he may have the best pure QB skills of the 3 right now.

I'm good with Dormady and am fine with whatever happens with TG, but you can't have an honest discourse while conveniently leaving out the 106 yards and 1 TD rushing the ball.

Another bit of info... Currently we have Dobbs and Peterman on scholly so adding Jennings and Dormandy is only 4 scholarship QBs. Butch prefers 4-5. If peterman transfers as some thought would happen before Ferguson left that would leave us with just 3. So taking 3 qbs would be 4 total on roster like rest of country due to unusual circumstances.

We planned to take 2 before ferguson left. So 3 is not of of the question especially when two of them could be elite at any position if they can't cut it at QB after a semester or two at QB.

I think Nathan hangs around. I don't usually like to count a kid as walking away from UT when they have shown no interest in doing so. He decides to leave, then you address the open spot.

2015 it would be Dobbs, Peterman, Dormady, Jennings. I'd think at least 1 and possibly both FR RS barring injuries. 4 scholarship QBs and several walk-ons. IMO we are fine.

You would ideally sign 1 QB in the 2016 class. IF Jennings is moved to another position early on, then you consider a 2nd QB for the 2016 class If you can get 2.

2016 would be Dobbs, Peterman, Dormady, Jennings, and the (2016 commitment). 5 QBs on scholarship and several walk-ons. Once again, we are in good shape.

Guys I've been following recruiting a long time.I don't think Ican ever recall a recruit that's just came and stayed this long.Other than Bryce Brown.Gotta be a lady friend involved in this one also.Maybe Laceys got a younger sister.

I posted in the JJ thread that just because we have JJ (future DB/LB, IMHO) and QD, we'd still recruit the heck out of TG. Some folks disagreed.

I'm glad to see us still pushing for TG. Let them all battle it out and may the best QB win.

We'll see how this shakes out. I will say I think Butch has played his hand as well as it possibly could've been played. I don't know how Gibson will feel when other school get in his ear with negative recruiting but for now it seems we're sitting good.
