On the road with @NickTotton to get our boy @quick_tg6 😎🏈🍊 #VolNation

S/O to my boys @NickTotton & @iTweetMoms show @quick_tg6 why being a #Vol is the best choice #GBO
Looks like 2 friends of TG and fans of UT have stepped up and are driving him to Knoxvegas. Where there's a will, there's a way. GBO
Not sure what to say other than that's unfortunate, for a multitude of reasons, but I can't imagine myself seeing any such thing. This theoretical kid of mine is 17. He's on the precipice of being a grown man. Time to sack up. I would almost certainly be accompanying him on any such trip out of fatherly interest in his future, but any 17 year old not mature enough to handle a simple roadtrip with a friend, teammate, or by himself isn't the kind that needs to be going away to college in the first place.
And for the record, this "couldn't find a ride" business is still ridiculous. If you want something done, do it yourself. If you want to go somewhere, pack a bag, get in the damn car, and drive there.
It's really not that complicated.
He's in Knoxville...
So you, as a grown adult, can stop questioning the testicular fortitude of a 17 year old.
1. He's in Knoxville because some Vol fans picked him up and drove him. Which incidentally is also an NCAA violation.
2. I'm not sure where to begin on how laughably bad this comment is. I'm not even sure it deserves being dignified with a response other than to say that reading comprehension is key and it's an area where, judging by this comment, you've just come up embarrassingly short. So, to be clear, nowhere in my comment was Gibson's testicular fortitude mentioned, or anyone's for that matter. Something you shouldn't have had any problem reading... you know, as a grown adult.

The math doesn't add up. It is like what a 26 hour round trip from Knoxville to Miami, and this so-called posse left last night to get him? I think that story is just some kids having fun, and not true. If it is true Gibson wouldn't be here until late tomorrow night, and it would be very dangerous. Actually I really hope it is not true at all.
Edit: Gibson is Fort Lauderdale which is still like 24 hour round trip not Miami. I thought Miami, because the kids kept saying Miami.
Miami is just a few minutes (20-25 mins or about 20 miles) south of Ft. Lauderdale, which is a 16hr +/- one-way trip from Knoxville. It's probably about as far as Sevierville is to UT campus.
However, when you ride an airplane, the trip is reduced significantly. I am under the impression he took a flight, possibly to Atlanta, then a car ride to Knoxville.
I can see it now. A couple Vol fans drive to FL to pick TG up. They make the trip to Knoxville and he goes through the camp. Following the camp they are in the car headed back to FL when the guys ask if he committed to Tennessee? TG says, "not yet". The guys then pull the car over and say, "commit or walk home".
The tweets to follow would be priceless.
