I printed out all Vol Nation doubters from my thread and put them up on my wall. Been up here for about a month.

These kids DO read boards and this is a reminder to all of us not run our mouths about things we don't know about.

I could see this being a primary reason why TG wanted to create a blog. I guess he could create an account on VolNation, but then half this site would call him a liar.

If we pulled Gibson if prefer we roll with him and Jennings as the QBs. Taking both Dobbs and Riley in same class hurt us last class and one is always bound to transfer when they can't play another position. I have faith that one of those two will turn out just fine while Dobbs is the Starter. Then we can recruit our typical one QB a year in 2016.

Volatil (son plays with Jennings) will argue he was offered as a QB.

Jennings may prove to be the better of all the quarterback candidates.

I think even the coaches would say that some days Worley is our best quarterback, other days it was Ferguson (pd) , still other days Peterman, and some days it was Dobbs.

I have heard more than one who attended practices that thought RF was the best of the current group and he is no longer with us.

Going to be a real lonely board for you and your Mensa brethren. :wink2:

You're only a "liar" if you actually DON'T BELIEVE all the bull you're spouting...no one's ever accused TG of THAT!! :yess:

But if he isn't so great as a passer the only way he gets better it's coaching and practice.

I'm not sure you understand that there isn't that many morons coaching in college football. Sure there are better guys at talent development than others but generally you don't get many that are around long in the profession if they have no clue what they're doing. Do you honestly think AU's staff will prepare Gibson better as a passer than UT?

Been saying this...but some folks just got to get their "B!tch" on. To which I say.....

I am a bit more comfortable getting both Gibson and Jennings than I was with Ferguson and Dobbs. Some say Gibson might be better at WR, and Jennings might be a DB. If they are flexible enough to play other positions if QB doesn't work out, we might not be looking at them leaving.

Plus looking at both's highlights, both have really impressed me as game changing players. The competition between the two of them could be interesting.

Torrance Gibson is going to a great QB at Tennessee. Accept it. Embrace it. Witness.

You forgot something

Good stuff... one point Bartow makes:

3. Has the Goods - Size. 6-foot-4, 210-pounds with a frame to add 20+ pounds easy. Check. Speed. Runs a sub 4.4. Check. Live Arm. Check. Touch. Check the film. All of the things a major college recruiter evaluates when looking for a dual-threat quarterback Gibson checks off on. Already. In one year at the spot. Hence, why he raked in 30 plus offers.

Sorry if this has already been posted, but has anyone heard a possible announcement day for him? All I keep hearing is that he plans on 'committing early.
