True not unbeatable. I just figure they are about to have a great season and well....we most likely aren't. We would need to be far ahead of any opponent on the recruiting trail to offset that (assuming wins and national exposure means something to Gibson).
Also, with them coming off a trip to the big game and having Cam and Nick Marshall as real world recent examples of greatness in that offense, Butch has his work cut out for him.
Well of course CBJ will continue to recruit the kid. I mean if we miss on a couple other WRs, we might be able to add him late to go along with Williams.

My question is why CBJ would want to continue to recruit him? We don't need any more WRs. Obviously he is the worst QB for our offense. So I wonder why CBJ would want to recruit a kid who, according to our VN experts, is clearly not a good fit for our team? Maybe it's time to find a coach who will agree with what VN thinks and ignore his own instincts?
Oddly enough none of us have any idea what CBJ actually thinks about any of these kids. Even the folks "in the know" (VQ) said Harrell and Johnson were takes and Vols up until the day they committed elsewhere.
CBJ may love TG. He may see him as serviceable as a QB. He may have him lumped in with several other guys as possible takes down the line. Who knows?

I never mentioned throwing it 40 times a game. I mentioned 30-35 passes a game IMO would be ideal. Well over 1/2 the games in 2013 our QBs threw more than 25 passes in a game. 30-35 with our new WRs/TEs and trying to play faster to me makes sense.
Once again I went back to see if I was crazy or not. In 2011 and 2012 while at Cinci CBJ's offense threw the ball about 31 times a game and ran it about 39 times a game.
