We didnt have a feature back last yr lol. Guys like Hurd, Paulk, Scott are gonna want more than 20 carries to split and having a DT QB may open more holes for them to run through by defenses having to worry about QB. Its not all about WRs. TG is plenty talented to get them the ball when needed.

I considered Neal our "feature" back as he carried it 2X as much as Lane did. Between the 2 backs they shared about 350 carries. I think CBJ plans to have the OL a little meaner and a little better at run blocking in the future. As the QBs get better in the system, they will go faster. I see no problem having 30-35 passes a game, 35-45 RB carries a game, and 5-6 QB carries a game.

Supposedly visiting again after that camp and in the same month so hopefully momentum is quelled shortly thereafter.

That may help squash the thinking that the kid is not going to camps because his family does not have the funds to travel to camps so he could show he is a top caliber QB compared to other QBs. If you can make UOV's you COULD make it to camps.

Yep. The quotes after camping with Gruden almost write themselves. They will make these Big Kitty quotes seem like outright complaining.
Guys, please don't bash because it's an honest question. But why would Gruden make such a difference in his decision? He wasn't really known as a QB guru or anything like that. Sure he does the QB interviews before the draft and I know every high school player would want to meet him, but why would that make such a difference in him picking UT over Auburn? He won't be there to coach him in college. It's a staff and scheme thing, and Gruden can't change that

Apparently you did not realize if Jon Gruden so much as farts in the neighboring county of a top recruit it would be the lead story on sportscenter.

I didn't say it would affect the decision, although I think it could if Gruden explains how TG can be utilized in our offense. Strictly talking about quotes though, you have to know TG is going to gush about working with Gruden.

Very true, and I do think I took it wrong. My fault. But yes, I'm sure his quotes would glowing with enthusiasm after being able to work with/meet a man of that fame and notoriety.

Has a recruit ever visited auburn and their writers not claim he thought about committing during the visit?? Seems like they say that every freakin time
