I think they are very similar athletes. IF the staff was wanting to take 2 QBs this year, I figured Gentry and Jennings would have been alright. I myself would not take both Gibson and Jennings. Taking 2 rather large projects at QB IMO is a big risk. I'd roll with Jennings only unless the staff can find another quality passing QB closer to NSD.

IF Jennings ends up at S, that's alright as we could use the depth there. IF Gibson ends up at WR, he may be buried by the other talented already proven WRs there.

There are a couple of real good stories out there about Bart Starr and Johnny Unitas. Both improved their accuracy from high school to the pros. Starrs girlfriend and eventual wife would swing a big tire back and forth while he tried to throw footballs through it. Then she would throw the footballs back for him. If you asked either of them they would say it is possible to improve it. They did so.l

Torrance Gibson is the kind of player you cheat to get.

We are going up against the dirtiest program (Auburn) and the dirtiest coach (Urban Meyer) in the country for Gibson.

That is what scares me here.

And in the offseason,they had to obtain gainful employment...since we're comparing athletes from different centuries. :glare:

The point I was trying to make is that even though we are the leader for Gibson we are going against two programs that don't mind breaking the rules to land a prospect of Gibson's status.
