He can't expect schools to wait until just before NSD to take a QB commitment and risk not getting QB at all since most QBs commit early to help recruit for their class. I think he will change his thought of his commitment date.
Doesn't Auburn have a 4 star QB already committed? And they took a 4 star QB last year as well. UT's depth chart should still be more favorable.
Seriously. His comments about meeting Cam probably didn't sit well with there fan base. Reporter was just trying to bait him into saying something bad about his obvious favorite program.

That's true.
At the beginning of the 2015 season, Auburn will have:
- Jeremy Johnson (2013, upcoming JR)
- 4* Sean White (2014, upcoming RS FR or SO)
- 4* Tyler Queen (2015, incoming FR)
All 3 are pro-style QB's though so Gibson's style could fit if Malzahn feels like moving in a different direction. Either way, he'd be battling some talented QB's in his time at AU.
It really isn't that big of a deal.
He's just weighing his options. No one that I've read and heard from some outrageous reaction to anything he's said thus far.
I think it's good that he's coming to A-Day though.
This recruiting battle will come down to the wire. Should be interesting but won't make or break anyone's recruiting class.
