It amazes me how so many of us on here actually think we know what the hell we're talking about. We just spew bs onto the keyboard and post it for all to read. I think blah blah blah even though I have very little, if any, idea as to what I'm talking about. But I do watch highlights!

You know what I think? I think we're all morons.

Oh yeah....

I wonder if the coaches must not have felt that great about one of Gentry or Gibson after their visit or Jauan might not have been given the green light to commit yet.

So now how does this go since we got Jennings?

If I had to guess it plays out being the staff would love to add Gentry as a QB. With him deciding in the next month or so, Gibson waiting till Dec/Jan plays out well for the UT coaches. Get Gentry, Gibson is no longer looking at UT. Miss on Gentry and the staff can press for Gibson.

I don't think that's true at all. Pretty sure Jennings was given the green light before Gibson or Gentry visited. They're taking 2 QB's this class.

Or, they are planning on taking 2 Quarterbacks, like Hubbs and crew have said all alone, and there is no way in the land of Sunny Moses that Gibson and Gentry are BOTH coming here. Now one or the other, + JJ is where it's at.

wait, I thought this kid was very high on UT!? Am I right in seeing we haven't officially offered him yet as well? I say see what Gentry does after his Texas visit (he visited OK ST this weekend) coming up and if he doesn't look strong, we full court press Gibson now. last time i checked, high quality DT Qb's were doing quite well....

You are incorrect. We have offered, and we lead, but there is a long road ahead in this recruitment

I know they plan on taking 2 QB's that's why I said they must not have felt great about one of Gentry or Gibson not both. Didn't know Jennings had the green light to commit publicly before they visited though.

Why would you tell the number 1 rated recruit in your state they couldn't commit?

Not saying that is the case, but if he was determined to play QB and you were in good position with two other QB's who may or may not be higher on your board then it's possible. I would rather have the top instate talent and I'm glad he is a VOL. It was just him committing after the other two visited made the thought come to my mind so I expressed it.
