Clemson is an engineering school. The list of majors at UT should be much larger than Clemson's. Both are good engineering schools, Clemson being superior in that regard. But I think UT has more to offer in terms of academic variety.
That said, I am not sure if Malone is super into engineering, but UT having a whole lotta new facilities coming up for the engineering program, I don't think this will play a factor in his recruiting. It is a push.
Clemson had no problem moving the ball against LSU last year (sick ass D, 7 players drafted or something absurd), UGA, or even USCe this year. They went 2-1 in those games. It wasn't that they couldn't move the ball, it's that they had 6 turnovers, 2 on punt returns.
Ferguson is the qb of the future until he actually plays a down and the shine wears off. Then it's onto the next backup. Oh wait, there won't be any left.
