If Thig was average as a recruiter.... No f'ing way Butch appoints him as the head guy on Malone's recruitment.

The guy is elite. He's the reason we are somewhat in it for Clifton Garrett and others.

Why isn't Azzanni all over the Malone deal? I mean that is going to be his position coach.

Why did Butch give Thig the important area of Nashville and the mid state to lockdown?

Bruin, man you're barking up the wrong tree on this one. We have an exceptional class and it wouldn't all be possible without the help of Thomas Eugene Thigpen.

I know in the past 3 years we had to have strong assistant coaches finish the sell job. That isn't the case now and that's clear

bruin, look at our record, it is/will/has took special recruiters to get recruits here. not bashing just saying

I think thig is an elite recruiter. No doubt about that IMO.

His worth is minimized because CBJ is a complete recruiting boss.

That's my only point.

Nothing wrong with stating your opinion but you are just dead wrong on this one man. CBJ would have to work a lot harder if we didn't have Thig recruiting for us.

Yall just need to chill. Kid would be great for the class. Would hate to see him go elsewhere. Would be a great class without him and greater with him. Unexpected either way, honestly.

Has anyone explained how these three know one another? I know Gaulden was at Brentwood Academy with Barnett for a while but how does Malone know them?

I think this is a positive factor for us but only one of many things Malone is considering.
