He's the rebel type.. The kind of guy that would rather do his own thing than follow Hurd to Tennessee. It's an ego thing i think. JMO
I'm seeing shades of that one receiver out of Memphis a few years back that blew UT off to go to Georgia and never lived up to the hype. What was his name?

Brown actually turned into a pretty good WR his senior year until he got hurt. It just took him a while. IMO, that is what happens when you play at a smaller high school. Same school of Todd Cox, who some questioned if he could play at this level before not qualifying.
I think Malone will flourish more quickly than that. He is not a must-have though because our WR recruiting has been and continues to be good. As long as we get a few more from in-state (Barnett, Gaulden, and either Sawyers or Mosley), then we will be fine.
Brown was a very good receiver and a good guy overall. He was definitely a fan favorite. What hurt Brown was his inability to stay healthy. He missed games every year due to injuries and played in many games while dealing with injuries. Brown was a team guy who was liked and respected by the coaches and the players.Brown actually turned into a pretty good WR his senior year until he got hurt. It just took him a while. So your saying we got more production from rogers in two years then you got from brown in four. Lmao UGA still think they got the better player?Brown was a very good receiver and a good guy overall.
