Wow, what a bunch of sissies. Seriously?

I cry, you cry, everyone on this board cries & every member of the UT football team cries. Hurd wanted to quit, Johnson doesn't understand the defense, but yet people want to rant over Malone being emotional.

My intent - which I've clearly stated - was to show the difficulty that these young men are going through, temper our expectations, and remain encouraging to these young men (as opposed to be derogatory) - which we tend to do sometimes.

How many high school, college & professional games have you seen boys/men crying on the sidelines or during/after a game? Does that make them weak or less of a man or football player? NO, it means they're frustrated, upset or showing emotion. I vividly remember Malone crying & throwing his helmet when they lost in the second round of the playoffs this past year. Why? Cause he was frustrated - nothing more, nothing less! Oh, but shhhh, better keep that quiet since he did it front of thousands of people, and he probably doesn't want anyone knowing about it. Did that make him any less of a football player? No, he's still a great football player making his transition into the SEC - like they ALL are.

Grow a pair, bro. It's not that damn serious.

I wanted to say the same thing. You said it so much better than I would have.

I'll be turning fifty soon. I still remember the first time I came out of combat like it was yesterday. I sat quietly for several hours just staring. While I sat there I was holding a buddy of mine in my arms while he cried like a baby. After sitting all that time without making a sound, when I finally did stand up, I walked about ten feet, fell to the ground and cried for an hour. Embarressment was the furthest thing from my mind and I don't care who knows about it. Men cry.

My regret in life is that by the time I left the Marine Corps my heart and mind had hardened and to this day I still don't show emotions the way I wish I could.

You're post was fine. Anyone who thinks otherwise, IMO, should re-evaluate their lives.

They were originally "Triple Six Mafia" before changing their name to "Three Six Mafia", so I guess I'm showing my age here because I like their older work.

Im sure a lot of people listened to them when they were Triple 6 Mafia. I know I did

EDIT:
SN: Three 6 Mafia - Chapter 2: World Domination was my jam back in the day. I wore that cd out

First, thank you for your service; everyone on this board is immeasurably grateful! Also, I appreciate your candid reply. That had to be very difficult.

"Hit a motha*****" was the first song I ever downloaded from the Internet.. Took about two hours from Napster lol..

That was some of our main hype music before games all the way from middle school through highschool.

I really appreciate the personal attack you threw at me "bro". Shows your true colors. I was completely respectful and obviously people agreed with my opinion to a degree. Its one thing if a player breaks down after a loss in front of cameras but never, and I mean never, is an 18year old kids emotions about a change in his life brought to attention. Its just wrong. I know everyone cries and all, but believe it or not not all of them want everyone knowing about their weakest moments. I'm not saying I'm right or you're wrong, but I'm just saying maybe you should think about the situation before you spill the beans on someones personal life.

ps- I now think you're a total douche and I;m sure a lot of others on this board do as well

"grow a pair bro" ---nice touch d*ckhead

Eh. How many public team videos are out there of players crying/getting emotional in the locker room after wins or losses?

I'm not saying that Josh doesn't care, but I don't think any of us expect him or Jalen or a walk-on to be football robots. They're are all down in Tuscaloosa anyway.

My point exactly. You don't see it too often and especially not in the locker room. If it happened in the locker room, it should stay in the locker room. Former and present athletes will understand that

If you guys like old 3-6, check out the record "6 Feet Deep" by the Gravediggaz. Came out in 94' and got lost in time but it's a gem for sure. Features RZA from Wu Tang and the beats are really dark, ominous and bass heavy.

I love the old 36 beats.. Something about those ticks in the background.
