If I were Josh, knowing he's a quiet and to himself type of kid, I would be embarrassed to have info like this leak to the public. It happened in the locker room for a reason, not at a press conference. Thanks vol74 for the inside info, but seriously you have to think about if you would want a ton of fans knowing that you broke down in a personal moment

Paul is also the man (same with Project Pat, etc.), just an irrelevant "the man".

Paul's just too hard for the radio. Juicy just wants to make booties clap and collect paper. He'll rap on anything to be relevant.

DJ Paul is the much better rapper by far.

I like em both better as a posse though.

Eh. How many public team videos are out there of players crying/getting emotional in the locker room after wins or losses?

I'm not saying that Josh doesn't care, but I don't think any of us expect him or Jalen or a walk-on to be football robots. They're are all down in Tuscaloosa anyway.

Wow, what a bunch of sissies. Seriously?

I cry, you cry, everyone on this board cries & every member of the UT football team cries. Hurd wanted to quit, Johnson doesn't understand the defense, but yet people want to rant over Malone being emotional.

My intent - which I've clearly stated - was to show the difficulty that these young men are going through, temper our expectations, and remain encouraging to these young men (as opposed to be derogatory) - which we tend to do sometimes.

How many high school, college & professional games have you seen boys/men crying on the sidelines or during/after a game? Does that make them weak or less of a man or football player? NO, it means they're frustrated, upset or showing emotion. I vividly remember Malone crying & throwing his helmet when they lost in the second round of the playoffs this past year. Why? Cause he was frustrated - nothing more, nothing less! Oh, but shhhh, better keep that quiet since he did it front of thousands of people, and he probably doesn't want anyone knowing about it. Did that make him any less of a football player? No, he's still a great football player making his transition into the SEC - like they ALL are.

Grow a pair, bro. It's not that damn serious.

The rest of 3-6 can't stand juicy cuz he's busy making songs with justin beiber and Katy perry, and kinda turned his back on them/Memphis.

I miss the old days...

There's a difference in showing emotion after a tough loss or a great win, and apparently having a minor mental breakdown. If Josh gets a case of the drops like Smith did last year, people will be thinking back to this situation and saying "remember the stuff we heard about in the locker room? The kid may be a head case". I'm greatful for the stuff 74 brings to the board on Hurd, but he shouldn't have said that.

Who's the better rapper isn't really relevant. I mean if the goal was to be the best who's to say a near homeless guy grinding out raps isn't the best? As far as being an entertainer, businessman, etc which is what the industry is all about Juicy is on another planet compared to Paul. As far as "too hard for the radio" a lot of music I listen to isn't for the radio, such as OF but they are making so much merch and concert sales it doesn't even matter. Multiple other examples just one I'm familiar with.

It does almost feel if Juicy sold out a little bit, but he still goes hard on a few songs. If they got back together though>>> :)

Project and Juicy are friends and do songs a good bit. I think you meant Paul specifically
