Urban is going to get a lot of players that he wants...
he will win big at OSU and get the several NC games because of their scheduling and conference.
Even if he doesn't win them all he has to sell a guy like Hurd on is - "With you in the backfield we would have won the NC" - kids will listen to that.
From Rivals -
Question No. 1: Which prospect who missed out on five-star status generated the most discussion/argument among the analysts?
Mike Farrell, National/Mid-Atlantic: There were plenty of them, but I'll say running back Jalen Hurd was probably one of the ones discussed the most. He's a great athlete and a terrific running back, but he has that upright style that makes you wonder if he'll be a star at the next level. And five-stars are projected as sure-fire talents at their positions and Hurd could be in a discussion like we had with Derrick Henry this past year.

I hate to say it, but my opinion is that Hurd doesn't not go to UT - i sure hope I am wrong.
I sure hope Butch and co can get a lot of instate kids signed on and that is enough to make Hurd want to join them and change the face and direction of UT.
Just not feeling optimistic now - hope that will change.

Can't stand him. But hard not to imagine him doing well there.
Sure, he has a soft schedule. Completely agree there. But, until he beats the given SEC team in the NC, I won't be impressed. He doesn't have the staff he had at FL, and he doesn't have Tebow. I think he's a great coach, so I won't take that away from him. But, until he wins without one of arguably the best I college players in history, I'll continue to be critical.
