I coached with the nc head coach and several others. Coach cates plays cover 3 almost constantly and its a tough scheme especially kids used to playing man. Not surprising they had some breakdowns in the secondary. I will continue to differ with anyone saying moseley is raw. He has played qb almost solely this fall except for certain big games. Rust would be a better word then thrown into a complex cover 3.
Safety Emmanuel Moseley of Greensboro Dudley, a Tennessee commit, was the Heels defensive MVP. He had seven tackles.
Not really, Sutton came in very raw since he played multiple positions in HS. Sutton is just very physical and took to Martinez's coaching very quickly.
I think more than anything Cam is just super competitive, his technique obviously can get better, but he always walks on to the field with a swagger or attitude or confidence that he won't let his guy beat him. I think part of cams success is effort and will to do whatever he can to shut his guy down.
Agree with everything you said except I believe Cam's technique is exceptional. Sure, it can get better but I've never seen a kid straight out of HS with technique like he has... well beyond his years. Cam will not be here 4 years IMO.
Rivals has an article breaking down about 15 players from the shrine bowl and not a word about the NC Defensive MVP, Moseley. Woody's mad.
