Sounds like we replaced the fast db that had sticky finger issues and left. Not Lester Hayes sticky, but taking stuff sticky. Was it Gray?

Since CBJ just had a nobody drafted as the 1st pick in the last NFL draft....and has a wicked known eye for talent...I am not going to question this one.

But if we had a list full of Moseley level kids....all mattresses would be in flames and babies would be kicked as we speak :eek:k:

I seem to remember hearing something about an increased emphasis on recruiting Virginia and the Carolinas recently.

But, the Vols had kept in contact since his stellar camp performance where he logged several 4.4 second 40-yard dashes and impressed with his coverage ability. That led to Tuesday night when he received a call from Vols' defensive backs coach Willie Martinez.

"I had just went to grab some food and I had got home and was talking to my mom and coach Martinez called me and I actually had to stop my mom from talking and I answered the phone," Moseley said. "His first question was, 'Do you want to be a Vol?'

"And it was an automatic yes."

"I ran a good 40-yard dash so all the coaches came over there and they all had their timers, and even the head coach with his timer came over there," Moseley said. "They looked at each other and coach (Tommy) Thigpen gave me the thumbs up like I did pretty good."

"When I went there this summer I fell in love," Moseley said. "I like how coach Martinez directs his players and how he coaches them. When I walked to the stadium to begin one-on-ones I said, 'This is where I need to be.'" "It's crazy. It's unbelievable," Moseley said. "It hasn't even kicked in yet."

Boom! I have a good friend in Charlotte who said this kid is a freak athlete. He didn't play football his sophomore year of high school and was off a lot of teams' radars. Good get IMO.

If he is 6'1 and 180lbs running a 4.36, I doubt a grey shirt is needed. JMO

Different than the Dews situation as I would prefer he take a grey shirt as he needs to add quite a bit of size to be ready to play.

I think you are on to something. That size and speed is not found very often at the CB position. When I looked at all the top CB's out there you could find some with that type of speed and find a very few with that size but none with that combination. As more and more WR's are getting very tall maybe you need to take a look at guys who can physically match up.

This kid is the same size as Rashaun Gaulden and has a 4.36 40 compared to Rashaun's 4.5. I know speed and size aren't everything but with the talent around him, he has the raw size and ability to be molded into a great player.

The last paragraph says "over the next 17 to 18 months we will recruit you harder than any other program in the country."

Was that his offer letter or a pic of one he found online? If he just got the call and the offer tonight, I doubt the mailman delivered the actual offer letter tonight.
