'14 CA CB Adoree' Jackson (Signed with USC)

Was Foster from Cali? Ainge definitely wasn't. He was Oregonian.

Foster was from San Diego area I believe, but lived some in Arizona too IIRC. Ainge was from Oregon. The original statement was "West Coast" guys, so they both fit that parameter. He quoted the wrong person though.

Is Jackson originally from Illinois? Did someone mention that on here? I'd pretty much write the kid off no matter what he's saying considering he's in Cali, but if he is originally from this part of the country then I think that makes things more interesting for sure.

Yes he is

I can't believe you guys were listing West Coast guys we've landed in the past and forgot The Whizzinator.

Man, I loved watching Ontario play. He had some years with the Vikings too.

He ended up at Oregon, and he was awesome in NCAA 03 maybe lol. Joey Harrington was on the front.

Yup, 03. The juke move in that game was so overpowered with good running backs. Also, we were ranked number 4 in that game. Can't wait until we reach those rankings again.

“Distance isn’t really a factor,” Jackson said. “I don’t care where I go if I stay out on the west coast, if I head out to the southeast, it’s fine. Whatever is the best fit for me will be where I go.”

Jackson touched on each of the primary schools he’s keeping an eye on and why they remain in the picture.

“Florida, they’ve got a great track team,” he said. “Between Florida and Florida State, they’ve got great track teams. The DBs they’re producing at Florida and Florida State are fast and fly to the ball. Florida State is like an SEC school in the ACC and they’re just gonna compete.

“For the local programs like Notre Dame, Illinois and Michigan, they’re close to home. They’ve got good programs and good tradition. Illinois is coming up on the upside. They fell down but it’s a home town school so I’m still looking at them.

“For LSU, it’s the defensive back university basically and they’re No. 2 in the nation in track so they’re going to compete as well.

“As far as UCLA and USC, they’re right here. I can visit anytime I want so I’ve built that relationship with them so that’s nice.”

Currently Jackson is ranked as the No. 3 cornerback in the country and the No. 17 prospect in the nation regardless of position by 247Sports.
