"I just manage everything well," Jackson said. "I try to keep myself level headed. My parents brought me up to stay humble because God is number one. I just want to stay myself because you never know what will happen." "I feel like I go compete," Jackson said. "I don't back down from any challenge. I want to win in everything and I'm going to do whatever I can to help my team succeed."
"I think one of the things that stands out to me is a school that I can do both track and football," Jackson said. "I also want a place that has good coaches. I want staff that is honest and down to earth. I want a school that has a good feeling and atmosphere. I want to compete against the best."
With offers from every major program coast to coach, Jackson knows he's got a big decision ahead. He hears a lot from Tennessee via social media and mail. He plans on visiting Rocky Top in July.
"I know Tennessee is a great program and it's close to home," Jackson said. "They are in the SEC. They want me to come out and check out the facilities and the program. They are definitely someone I'm interested in."
