Whats the latest your hearing? Who are our best shots and when? Bryant would be huge. But if we can get any combo of Kamara, Henry, Williams, Turman, Green and Bryant it would be a nice RB class.

Settle down, fignewt! We were just told before Bourque skipped town that the coaches have been telling RBs that we are only taking one this year. I just wanted to know from OCI if the coaches have changed gears with Bourque leaving. It makes sense to us that it would seem we would take 2, but I am just looking for a little confirmation. Go take some Exlax since you seem to be so constipated.

If Green, Bryant, Henry, or Kamara want to be the only RB taken in this class, then we'll only take one. If we miss on all four (or if one is fine with us taking another RB), then we'll take two RBs.

I dont believe that we would only take one what if they pull a Borque? All those backs should know that every major program is looking to take more than one rb, you have to have some insurance.

Since it seems we can't pull 1 top notch RB while other teams are adding 2-3 every year, we may be in a position that we have to promise a kid he will be the only 1 taken. I get that it is not ideal. For whatever reason, top RB's are just not thinking Tennessee is the place to be.

Thanks, OCI. This is what I wanted to know. If we land one of those 4, then I am perfectly fine with only taking one, if that needs to be a stipulation to land one of them. :hi:

Throughout the process I have not heard any of the coaches say we only take one RB this cycle---regardless of who that player is.
If we get two commits---be it any combo of Bryant, Folston, Grayson, Green, Henry, Kamara, Turman, or Williams---the coaches will take them.

I do recall K. Green saying in an interview that the coaches told him they were only taking 1 RB in this class. Most felt the kid was just talking or the coaches were telling him what he wanted to hear. Maybe they were not.

Not doubting Keyante but I have not heard the coaches say this publicly or otherwise.
Recent history---in 2003 we signed one. In 2007 five. In 2009, we signed both the #1 RB and #1 APB. Need and opportunity dictate.
