'13 TN RB Cornelius Elder

Is that not a violation?

If the contact is arranged, used a recruiting tool, etc., it is a violation. Newton is curently taking classes at AU to finish his degree so he is in a lot of places on the Auburn campus right now. I doubt it was pre-arranged.

(Besides, I doubt if Newton is afraid of the NCdoubleA if you know what I mean)

Seriously???

We should get Peyton, Leonard, Al, or some other legend on campus to just happen to "drop by the complex" while the recruits are visiting...we can say they were checking out the new facilities, because they haven't seen them yet. :whistling:

I honestly do not know. I can't devine if there were motives or not. Cam is an enrolled student and has been on campus since the beginning of the semester. (For several decades AU has had a scholarship program where former athletes can return to complete their education). Also, I do understand he works out at the athletic center a couple of times a day.

SCtiger,,

Ford or elder is higher on the auburn wish list??

Edit : Thanks for the answer

sorry guys Elder is ranked way too high. I live in Nashville but I am from Kingsport. Watch the film. It is easy to see that a kid like Malik Foreman (3star) is a way better athlete then Elder. Malilk is of similar build, but faster and makes better moves on the field. I know some of you will say Elder is ranked higher. True he is, because he plays in Nashville not Kingsport. People that know football listen to this; in 2 years Elder (all 160 lbs of his overrated self) well be sittting down. Malik will be playing. The high school Malik plays for has several playing NFL now that had no ranking, or little ranking as to stars in high school and then to college. Nashville private school kids are always rated way to high and then barely if at all make the NFL. I am sorry, but the fact that Elder is rated higher then Malik Foreman is a joke. If you disagree, get back to me in a couple of years because I dont care about your stats

I agree that Elder is a bit overrated. Don't get me wrong, the kid is good. I saw him play in a scrimmage against Gallatin before this past season, and he was incredibly elusive. I just don't think he warrants such a high ranking. Same goes for Jalen Ramsey IMO.

Super Newton vs the NCAA. Sounds like a $1 movie spectacular!

So he goes to the barn and comes back to haunt us one way or the other?

Tennessee has done nothing but allow kids to have career days against us of late. Why should it change now?

Yes, I am kidding. Corn I see as a specialty player. He could make some plays and or he could be sitting on the bench alot. I think we have room in this class where we could risk the chance. I just don't think the coaches are going to do it. I said in my previous post, I would not mind taking him. The kid will never be an every down RB. That is why I said I would not count him as THE RB for this class.
