'13 SC DL Jaylen Miller (UT signee)

He looked pretty fit. I doubt he is going to be putting on another 20 lbs like a new coat.

He may have some time at DE to prove he can play the position before he is big enough to move inside.

not it's not...i think you just made that up

I self bumped once and you'd a thought I had raped the Pope's daughter. Oh wait, the Pope is not supposed to have a daughter. Or did they change that rule. Oh he!! I'm confused now. Well you get the point.

While the 40 time isn't at the top of the list it should matter IMO. Chasing down a flushed out of the pocket QB is important.

I agree that chasing down a flushed QB is important, just do not believe that it is the D Linemen that would normally be doing it. They should be more the "Flusher" and not the "chaser". :)

I don't care what a lineman runs his forty in. More interested in his first step and shorter shuttle runs.

Miller is going to be the closest thing we get to a DT in this class

And IMO, a poor job by this staff to address the DL needs. They have done well at some positions. DT & LB is scary right now.

I dont think its entirely this staffs screw up if at all. They came in way behind on the hardest position to recruit period. Dooley was set with the juco kids and he was done. CBJ and crew came in with most solid kids locked up or out of play and did the best they could. You dont just go get kids who are listed as DT and fill roster spots if they cant play. I would rather them get someone decent and regroup for next year. Miller will be solid and Carr could end up inside himself if we hold onto him. Sanders with his frame could add weight and move inside as well, again if we hold onto him.
