I feel like we're making a strong push for him, but I think Auburn hired a good staff and that he committed to the school. Once he builds some relationships with them I think he'll end up sticking with them. Just my gut feeling and I hope I'm wrong!

We should all be hoping Rocker does not go back to Auburn. That would lock Carl up. A "meh" hire (so to speak) will make things very interesting.

While I have nothing but bad things to say about Ellis Johnson, I just don’t understand how bringing back Cutcliffe (if you will) is really supposed to excite anybody. Without Cam and 5 what really did they do?

I never thought their defense was the problem. More offense and Chizic still has a job (sorta the anti-Dooley). Maybe it’s just me, but at least Jones has a track record of winning. Maybe it’s just my orange-colored glasses, but I don’t see a guy with his foot in the door of the big league going back down a level. Maybe this guy would love to be back at his old school, whatta I know?

For Lawson, the nation's No. 2 prospect, it appears to be a waiting game to see how long it takes for him to de-commit from Auburn. Multiple sources are saying it's more "when" than "if" and that Clemson and Ole Miss are lurking. However, a great defensive line hire by Auburn could change all of that.

What? Did they overlook his OV to UT or something? Ole Miss lurking..... lol

Ole Miss is getting on my nerves...hopefully with OV's scheduled for both him and his teammate Barber we are doing a better job lurking then rivals gives us credit for.

I would not dismiss the Ole Miss talk if I were you. They did have a better year than we did. They also currently have a better recruting class than we do. I think HF is doing a great job there. Ole Miss could end up with a great class this year.

Again, I don't understand why Rocker would go back to AU.

This is by no means a slap at you or the Barn, but....if you make a lateral move, at least make it in the NFL--not to an SEC team with pending NCAA sanctions.

I understand the whole "alma mater" deal, but there's decent talent on this DL and its very good possibility that we add a DE/DT in the first round this year.

I said this before, but I think the Titans DL has played better as the season has gone on...yes, we're not nearly the best DL but it's a lack a talent, not coaching.

Morgan has improved this year, Jarrell Casey and Karl Klug are decent rotational guys...Wimbley has been somewhat of a disappointment, but I didn't have high expectations for him anyway.

There's no doubt we need an infusion of talent along the DL...and we'll likely do so through the draft and FA.

Again...I don't see why he would make that move.
