'13 GA DE Carl Lawson (Auburn commit)

OK. So, why is he still playing? He plays more than Willie Bo, and J. Williams isn't even touching the field. J. Williams was everyone's golden child and "steal out of UF's backyard." 247 guys mentioned the other day that the coaches were disappointed with his development so far.

I think he's playing cuz out of the three he's still our best option. I think BB is just saying that the physical tools are there, but he isn't playing like he should with his talents. Not aggressive enough, out of position alot. But regardless, still our best option.

Kinda funny how Willie Bo is going to play even more due to less assignment busts than your boy. I call it like I see it. He's not a good player at all for us. We are short on talent so he gets to play. He may practice well but in games he's nothing. And he's a junior now that's not really a special athlete either. Looks like he just was a bust in recruiting.

And since you feel the need to bring up J.Williams name at least the kid is only in his second year so he has time to get it. He's a much better athlete than your boy so he does have some upside. But I'm pretty sure you'll come up with some sort of excuse about this too.

No what I'm saying is that he's a bust.

What else does Johnson need to do to step up? He leads the team in tackles with 42..and B Moore is second with 37.

I think you read that statement as two separate statements when in fact it was one. Sounds like he wants AJ to be more physical at the point of attack.

Don't you think AJ is our most physical player though? I agree I'd like to see more big hits out of him but overall I think he's done a fine job.

AJ is most certainly our most aggressive downhill player but he still needs to work on striking people. He has Rolando McClain syndrome at times (thinks he's on WWE).

Johnson has been trying to bodyslam everyone since the Florida game. That doesn't mean he's a bad player, just not driving his man backwards, into the ground like he can.

Johnson needs to step it up and start putting his helmet on people instead of trying to body slam everybody. Lathers needs to lead by example. Smith has gotten what kind of pressure??? He's been playing terrible period. The pressure he has gotten was after another guy is already there.

McNeil is starting and he'll be more than fine. As will Coleman at CB. Both are intelligent young players. Coleman wasn't the victim in the passing game against UGA. He had a pretty good game. He gave up a back shoulder throw that he couldn't do a thing about with the WR pushing him by.

C'mon man, it's obvious that you do not like JS but don't be a hater. He's pressuring now he needs to close the deal with sack production. His biggest issue is that he's so concerned w/ pressuring that he loses sight on containing the edge.

Slow down a bit there, BB. Our DB's have been exposed---youthful mistakes, lack of speed and poor tackling. Not knockin' Coleman. And I've talkin' up McNeil, boys a straight up assassin @ S

That speaks to most everyone on "D"...hell, everyone wants our "D" to play better and more aggressively---doesn't mean that AJ isn't playing well which is what BB is insinuating.

There’s a reason I keep saying Lawson would start as a Freshman.

There’s a couple of other guys who we’re recruiting that could start here in 2013.

If he's not getting sacks, nor containing, nor getting penetration, then what is he doing? I'm calling what I see. I didn't care for Zro but he's playing well for us this year. I have no complaints his way. Hating = telling the truth on this site sometimes I see.

You must really not have read my post because I made another post insinuating that was what I meant. WTH are you talking about guy?
