You guys will probably disagree, but I want this guy more than Green, we have NO elite pass rushers on defense, this dude is the definition of an elite pass rusher
Yeah I would like both.. But a dominant run game, which Green would bring with him would help us have control of the ball longer, giving our pass rushers much needed rest to refuel on the sideline.. Pass rushing takes a great deal of energy. Heck even Dwight Freeney gets winded after long drives and staying on the field.. A good run game slows down the tempo of the game, favoring the defense. Thats why Bama( as much as they make me sick) always seems to get after the QB and remains fresh on D

A lot of questions have come up about AU and retaining CGC because of the huge buyout. It is not what people think. Come Dec 1 it will only be 7.5m and not a lump sum. His contract would pay him monthly until the end of 2015. So it would be paid out over the next years. And only if he did not take another job, which it also states he has to make an effort to find another job. So they may only have to pay him about 2 million and if there was any NCAA rules violated they found they could fire him without giving him a dime.
The link below explains it. I think the staff may be replaced. Which may bode well for UT and Lawson but may also bode well for AU if they pull in a great staff with the talent they have.
