Hey, I'm just telling you how Dalton referred to the Big 12, "Garbage." There's a reason he's gone on and on about playing in the SEC. He'll tell you himself that the SEC has the most talent, and he wants to play with the most talent.

Santos will more than likely evolve into a DE role at Texas. He is very similar to Brian Robison who came to Texas as a LB, played DE and helped Texas to a national title and is having a nice career at DE with the Vikings.

Texas has lost a lot of "out of state" recruits at the last minute during Mack's tenure. I don't hold a grudge against any of them. I can't imagine what it is like to be 17/18 and to be pressured by world-class salesmen into making a decision.

Texas was 11th in the nation in D this past season and that was with a sub-par offense supporting them and in an offensive intensive conference. Texas will be a top 5 D next season and probably the year after. Santos is walking into a great situation with a program he has loved since childhood. I will be shocked if he leaves Austin without committing to Texas.

Didn't texas lose to tha missouri team that has been dubbed as inferior? what was the score? 17 to a whopping 5 points? That's right. Also according to ESPN you have the 33rd best defense in the nation. Where did the 11 come from? On another note... how much did you beat A&M by? Those were your rivals right? 27 to 25? won by 2? The Big 12 got more difficult and the SEC got easier? If A&M didn't have a lame duck as a coach, they would have dominated the Big 12 alongside OK St.

On any given day, Arkansas, LSU, and Bama could beat the best of the Big 12. I have no excuse for the SEC East. It's just down right now.

Yeah with Lattimore. Even without him they were pretty darn good without Garcia this year.

And yeah, UGA is overrated, but they'd still handle most of the Big 12 with relative ease I think.

But Dalton Santos has been qouted as saying that he wants to play bigtime SEC football. The horns cannot offer this option except to get killed in a bowl game against a SEC game:)
