Kimbrow must have really been burned by what all was said about him on the boards.

Sorry for the suspense folks, at least we had reason to be excited for a minute or two. Thank Mr. Kimbrow for that. And credit to KingstonVol who said it was Vandy the whole time.

Lay off of Sab. Any of you (me) would have come here proclaiming we had the gospel from the horse's mouth. At least he had contact with him.

How the hell is this kid going to get in Vandy (and stay eligible)??? Not majoring in neuroscience or anything like that, that is for sure.

What did you major in?

If it was neuroscience, good job and congrats on being smarter than me.

LOL @ all these sour grapes posts knocking this kid. He would have been a great pickup for Tennessee.

This is the SEC, you need to restock your talent and speed every single year.

Ridiculous to think he wasn't a need just because they have another guy on the roster who "might" be sort of like him. (who by the way has never played a down yet either).

There is a reason Tennessee is near the bottom of the SEC right now and one of those reasons is they dont have enough talented playmakers. (along with the obvious lack of talent in the front 7)

Hell, Sab is classy about these recruits as it gets. Even in this instance, he's been a good sport and all class, IMO.

Respect.

:hi:

we already have 2 5-9 160 Lb backs on campus in D. Young and j.Toney. We need I. Cross to stay committed. We don't need 5-9 160 lb backs right now.

We may not need them, but I think the staff takes Norfleet in a heartbeat if he makes the call. JMO

Kimbrow will probably not make a career playing pro football. Maybe attempting to get a degree from Vandy is the best thing he can try to do

So every school that Kimbrow had offers from is getting out-recruited by Vandy? Ok

I Didnt say that. Look at where they are at compared to where we are at right now for the 12 class. They just got a commitment from the top player in our state. That's what I'm sayin' dude.:fool:

Probably was the first time football fans gathered together at a Panera Bread or Starbucks to hear an announcement for a recruit. Congrats to the 17 Vandy fans in the greater Nashville area.

And then the season starts

Yep. I fully expect them to lose a few of their current commits once the season gets rolling and they have 3 or 4 wins max. But to date their staff has done a hell of a job for Vanderbilt. I doubt Kimbrow's recruitment is over by any means.

Yeah, good work on Vandy's part. Congrats to them.
