well, bye.

PS - Lane will be the feature back. McCluster was Ole Miss' feature back. Kimbrow would not be the feature back here, therefore he would not get the touches that McCluster got. Is that hard to understand, voodoomonkey?

All im saying is that is 100% your opinion. And mccluster didn't get those "feature back" touches until his senior year anyways.

How about we wait until BK's senior season stats start showing up? I'll bet they will be pretty good. Better than DY.

While Kimbrow is "MR.4.25 and is SPECIAL", how about we bury this thread about 4 pages back and not worry about him any more. We are on to bigger and better things.

Because this thread stopped being about Kimbrow when skeeter posted about Lane.

Doesn't matter anymore, he's not going to be a Vol. Let's move on...

Never understood these posts. No one is forcing you to open this thread. Some of us would like to continue following his recruitment as well as other players who wont end up Vols.

+1. Truth or not, letting one post completely change your opinion about a player is pretty ignorant...

He's going to share carries with Redmond, and based on touches, he'll still do extremely well.

Maybe at a school with average to above average talent around him. At Vandy, he'll be the only thing the defense has to stop. Not to mention the sub-par O-Line he'll be running behind.

And, I've seen nothing to indicate that Redmond will be taking carries away from Kimbrow because most believe he'll be a DB in college.

He's talking about for their senior year in high school where redmond plays qb and runs the ball a lot.

You all will forget about kimbrow come fall, Lane may be the best rb ive seen here since J Lewis. he is 100 percent healthy and ready to go, cant wait.

I believe Lane can have a similar freshmen year/impact to what Arian Foster did at UT in his r.Fr year.

Foster played in every game and started the last 5 games of the regular season. He ended up with just over 1,000 yards from scrimmage while rushing for at least 100 yards in each of his 5 starts.

Lane's freshmen year could easily follow that path. He likely won't start the season off at RB, but could easily take over the starting position by mid-season and make a huge impact for the team.

You gotta be excited about hearing how good Lane is looking when you pair that up with the young and substantial talent on our offensive line. Throw in our QB and our WR/TE talent, and oh my goodness. We could be on the brink of a really, really exciting offense here. And oh boy are we long overdue for that. I'm psyched. :)

Who knows, you may be right about his 2011 stats, but that will not matter -- I think that ship has sailed without him. He will not be a Vol and I believe that is a good outcome for us.

As I said before, he is a good football player and hopefully he will find a team where he is a better fit than at UT. I wish him nothing but the best except when he plays us.

By the way, I think some here have jumped to what may be a premature and wrong conclusion from his camp experience with UT. He is not necessarily a bad kid nor a future problem child. Immature and with a case of too much ego, yes. But when he acted the way he did it could likely be the result of anger at being told that we cannot use him -- which would also explain why he put forth no effort at the camp. Regardless, all this may cause him to gain some maturity and a bit of humility, enabling him to be a good team player for somebody. I hope that is the case.

The little idiot acted like that during camp and that's why we don't want him. It wasn't after we told him otherwise. He acted as if he was bigger than the UT program and we won't recruit guys that are like that. Kimbrow was acting as if he was uncoachable already which isn't a good sign. Hate he caught an attitude at our camp. Wanted him as part of this class.
