I disagree completely. They may be able to take it 80 yards on a straight run with great blocking. But none of them will make people miss in the open field and take it 80 yards. Tennessee does not have the kind of talent right now some of you like to imagine.

Yeah it can't be considered a loss if the guy was never offered by Tennessee.
With that said you have to give Vandy some credit though. They are actually landing guys now that had some very good offer lists. It's certaily better than I've ever seen them recruit.
Josh Dawson had offers from Georgia, Notre Dame, Virginia Tech, South Carolina and a bunch of others. That was a huge pickup for them and he's likely going to end up a 4-star. He would have been a huge pickup for anyone.
Darreon Herring, Jacob Sealand and Stephen Weatherly also had some really solid offer lists too.
Have you been to VQ before?
Meltdown over putting 2 and 2 together with the rumor that vandy will get a bunch of commitments - and now Kimbrow and Azubike are announcing at practically same time next week.
Not necessarily.I think what we can take from that is he has developed good relationships with those staffs and he likely wants to play in a spread offense where he can get some early PT.
If he wants early PT it would be hard to come by at the big 4 you mentioned. They are all pretty loaded with elite talent at his position.
Would not lose sleep over Candy getting those two. We aren't getting either one so it really doesn't matter. Would rather focus on guys we have a chance at and have offered.jmo

I agree with the stuff you have said. I will add that sometimes, no matter how hard you go after a kid, they may just not like it at that place. It happens. CCB has been getting good reviews in Menphis.
Never under estimate outside influences on some of these Memphis kids. If he chooses Cincy, he would join Alex Dale, and O would expect Redmond and the Melrose QB to follow suit. Would surprise me though.

This is also why I hope our staff moves on and does NOT continue to recruit these guys. Alot want to use the "its not over until they sign", but I would like to see our staff focus on players who want to have a chance at SEC titles.
well maybe these guys wanna be apart of building something special at Vandy. you know, the same words that some of our recent commits have said. whatever the coach is selling these recruits are buying.
Exactly. I dont see much difference. What do some people expect their staff to tell these kids? We suck but we still want you to come play for us?
They are trying to sell Vandy on a very similar message that Dooley and his staff are trying to sell Tennessee on.
