Did you say previously that his OV date changed from the Alabama game to the FSU game, or was that someone else? If so, is that in an article somewhere?

Have you heard that he wants to visit Gainesville in September as an OV for the Tennessee game?

the info came from the recruiting guy on ITG so I'm guessing it came from DJ.....he's coming to the Bama game but taking his OV for the FSu game....things could change.

UF leads but I wouldn't call it a slamdunk...he wants to visit UT, Aub and Bama so anything could happen..this time last year Waisome, Timmy J, Wilder and Grant were all UF leans/silent.

Wilder? I thought Wilder was leaning to FSU the whole way, just a lot of smoke during his recruitment.

Wilder was all UF until he camped at FSU in mid-July and they offer at RB...something under Meyer that was never going to happen.

yes, Gran/Jimbo are going to give him a good chance at RB but if it doesn't pan out he'll make the move to LB. The kid comes from a great family that looks at this more about business than taking things personal.

I guess that's true. I guess if they give him a fair shot at the RB position, he might stay happy. He's going to end up on D though, IMO.

D all the way....Saban was the only coach that was 100% with the Wilder's...UF offered at Ath after FSU took the lead but 95% of BCS coaching know he's a better fit at RB but that talk for the Wilder thread! lol

For the record he wasn't good as a RB at all. I really see Wilder as a bust period overall. But time will tell.

I have a sneaking feeling about him myself. I remember last year you and I crowned him the 2011 Recruit Bodybuilding Champ. I'm not 100% convinced on the football part yet. He looked like he had concrete shoes at LB. I think he will end up at DE and be successful.

if you haven't watched the kid live then I can understand why so many feel he isn't elite...IMO he was a man playing toddlers when I watched him in person.
