Brantley and three freshmen backups....OL is solid but numbers are the issue. IF Patchan, Wilson and Nixon are heathly thiis could be a strong point. Chaz Green and Ian Silberman are starters atp.
Hey Gator I've got a feeling that the Vols are going to come to the Swamp and take Humphries from you when we smash you all on national tv. Yeah I said it. Lol
But all these ifs on a new offense isn't good. Especially if they're up front. Malik Jackson is going to be hell on your young O-line.

That's pretty bold, not saying it can't happen but until I see some game day action from UT I'll keep my comments to myself. lol
LMAO! New offense crap is overrated....Meyer took over from SOS/Zook pro-style and didn't miss a beat. UF has recruited for the pro-style the last two cycles....#1 FB in the nation and 3 Top 5 TE since 2009. Brantley was 4-5* Pro-style QB coming out of HS...he just a headcase atp. The Oline is young Wilson 5th year Sr, Nixon 2 year starter, Patchan was a starter two years ago...combine they have 26starts/43 games..they've cut their teeth already...add in Halapio and Harrison who have started games the past 2 season.
Chris Leak passed for 2700 yd 20TD/6int
last year was everyones best chance...FSU and USCjr knew this and beat our azz...UT and UGA dropped the ball.Your problem last year was your OC. It doesn't matter if you've recruited for a pro-style if you don't run a pro-style offense.
Also, even though you're moving toward a pro-style offense this year, it's going to take some time to adjust. This is still Tennessee's best shot in several years, even though it's at The Swamp.
Meyer's first two years were the exception, not the rule I think. Meyer was just a very good coach, and for the most part made pretty good coaching hires.
I also don't think you're going to have the type of success you've enjoyed during the Meyer or Spurrier glory years until Weis is gone, but that's another story for another day.
i agree last yr was a way better chance
i dont expect this yr to be near as hard to watch
i just smh everytime our offense walked out onto the field last yrlol:
I feel we have a big advantage in coaching. Dooley really had 2 wins taken from him. Dooley vs an unproven Muschump is a plus for us. That team Dooley had to coach his first year was terrible. New Starters everywhere and he still went bowling plus he brought in a top 15 class. I feel with a better team Dooley will win at least 8 this year. We'll get off to a hot start and roll through a bunch of teams early. After we get to rolling(hopefully) players like Humphries will be ready to hop in the back of the Dooley Truck.
