'12 NC OT D.J. Humphries

if you haven't watched the kid live then I can understand why so many feel he isn't elite...IMO he was a man playing toddlers when I watched him in person.

When I saw him on tv and some little 155-160lb safety came up and blasted him in open field that's all I needed to see. The little dude knocked him out of the game for a few plays.

"In order, they are Florida, Tennessee, Auburn, South Carolina and Clemson," said Humphries

"Tennessee I've seen the most of any school, I've been there five times. I planned two of those trips and the others just happened where my sister had a couple of dance recitals near there and we took a family vacation near there as well. Coach Joseph and I get along very well and they are like Florida, they are hungry to get back to the top. I always seem to be near Knoxville for some reason."

I really hate it when recruits say "they really want to get back to the top" in reference to Florida. I forgot an 8-5 season following a 26-2 stretch indicates an end of days.

He's been here more than he has been to Florida. He is going back to Florida after he visits us again. If we haven't changed his mind yet, we aren't going to.

As mentioned before, he is now focusing on scheduling his remaining OV's. The only one he has set is for the FL vs AL game the weekend of Oct. 1st. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens.

in his interview with ITG he said that his OV is going to be the FSU game instead...that was last week.

I wish our recruits were coming to the Vandy game instead....not feeling Bama or FSU. We tried it last year with USCjr and took a beat down.

You don't want your recruits around James Franklin. He will steal them! They'll end up taking the bus back to Nashville with the team after the game.

I heard if he moves his UF OV it will be for the Tennessee game. I like that option to where he can see UT twice. Plus, the earlier the Florida visit the better. The SC game maybe the Tennessee OV, but it may be Vandy.

What happens if James Franklin steals him away?

:eek:lol:

I agree with this. If we're still #2 even when he's visited us the most, then I sure hope CDD can pull a rabbit out of his a**.

I think if we beat florida this year, we can land him.

That would help. But I think we'll beat florida. They're goin thru changes there. We r as well. But this is Dooley's 2 yr plus decent LBs,good DBs,and sum of the best WRs n tha country. We're definately gonna win games we're expected to. And afew that we're not......GBO!!!!!!!!

On ncpreps.rivals.com there is a story on the front page about him. This what he said."Tennessee I've seen the most of any school, I've been there five times.
