Danny now saying he will commit at his homecoming game in October which is before his visit to UT. Says he will visit UT no matter what for the LSU game though. Seems odd that he would commit to Mich then turn right around and visit UT.
He sounded blown away by his visit to UM this weekend. Absolutely blown away.

(The Wolverines) didn’t play the best game, but they really fought to the end. That was a big impression on me. “It is a great atmosphere (at Michigan). It’s electric. It’s electric. It does a lot.”
“(The committed guys) were crazy,” he added laughingly. “They didn’t really have to do any (recruiting), though. (The overall experience) kind of did (the recruiting) itself.”
And when asked if he could see himself fitting into a future Maize & Blue defense, the game’s strong impression instantly became more evident.
“Oh yeah,” replied O’Brien with an obvious grin. “Who wouldn’t want to play in the biggest stadium with most people who ever saw a college football game? Who wouldn’t want to do that?”
If he commits to UM on 10/7, we should revoke his offer and cancel his OV

Taking his visit no matter what eh? I don't believe that for a minute. No way Dooley wastes time on a kid who just committed to another school. And if the cards fall right for us that LSU game will be twice as wild and loud as the Michigan game.
He goes to Michigan if they want him. He is using us as his backup plan. The kid has grown up a Wolverine fan. I grew up in Tennessee and did not want to go anywhere else when I was a kid. I can understand where he is coming from. He probably got caught up on the hype last weekend to solidify his feelings.
As far as his OV, I personally wouldn't give up on any prospect before NSD. Stuff happens and who knows--especially on a position of need.
