Here's our D.Menzie. And no Jay he is no Menzie lol but hell he's as close as we can get to him as we can get this year. Plus we don't have anything proven at CB.
Lockdown, you're severly underestimating how good Menzie was coming outta Juco.
I like Jacobs, I Loved Menzie.
Menzie minus that achilles injury starts at every school in the country.
I can't put these 2 in the same sentence.

Byron Moore was a better prospect than Jacobs at same points in their careers

How fast is this kid? It got real old seeing Lanier getting burned time and time again last season. I know that some of it is due to technique and not reading routes fast enough but it will be nice to have a solid secondary next season.
Fast. Good football speed.
More of the roasting of our secondary was because of technique than speed. Byron Moore pretty much had no idea what he was going to be playing from week to week because of injuries. And PreWagg is much better at CB, and should be able to stay there this year.
I think even in Jacobs isn't the starting corner, he keeps the guys in front of him on their tippy-toes. And whoever is starting will have much better help over the top because of more experienced Randolph, Moore, and Brewer (plus McNeil and Orta looking to steal playing time).

I'm just happy he's an EE. That should give him plenty of time to adjust to things. Couch and Moore really started to make an impact the second part of the season. They weren't EEs however.
