Very few people around the coaches get information anymore, thats why i have to be very careful what i say. Wasnt to bad last year because alot of other people got the info as well. And yeah im wrong sometimes, dj earlier this year and autry this week. Autry told Thompson he was all vol 2 weeks ago when Thompson visited, thats all i know.

Heard from several coaches Otis is a vol, i have no idea when he goes public with it. Ive heard he wants to tell the family in person first. Get the feeling him and sentimore will announce at same time.

I don't understand the hate. If someone has information let them bring it. Information is all that it is and new developments sometimes happen. I don't want to squash it because a few foaming at the mouth people get their panties in a wad.

I appreciate your info, but does everyone get a skeeter boat lol? I just don't want you to get in trouble and it would seem that would be an easy way for them to figure out who you are.:hi:

Man, I suggest you quit reading these posts if you are having that hard of a time with them. Any of us that take this stuff to heart are just setting up for a potential heartache. I'm guilty of it all the time. As others have said, Dawson still hurts. But to question Skeeter over and over is just crazy. He's right more than not.

And for the record, I miss LV as well. Wish he would come back and make an occasional post......

Part of it is that we live in a media driven society where WAAAAY too many people cannot take raw information and evaluate it for themselves. They are so accustomed to the media giving them info and telling them or leading them to what they should think about it that they cannot receive raw information.

You see it here all the time. Raw info comes out that sounds positive.... and they "hear" I should be happy and certain that this will happen. Raw info comes out that sounds negative... and they freak. They cannot understand that Skeeter is giving them first hand "breaking news" about things that are completely fluid.

I appreciate the info provided by folks here.... both insiders and others but always take it all with a grain of salt. What is true today may not be true tomorrow in recruiting. The only thing that does not change is ink on paper.

A lot of the hate towards OCI and (only by association) Skeeter is unwarranted. Just because they called a commit and it didn't happen doesn't mean they're making up info to get e-cred. I know there have been a few in the past who have done that, but they were found out eventually. While the info OCI has given was maybe a bit premature at times, how can anyone begrudge him for passing what he hears along??? Isn't that what EVERYBODY on here wants? Good grief...take it with a grain of salt and don't get too wrapped up in ANY commitment until they sign an LOI.

People act like we're credentialed media on here....geez.

I like OCI and Skeeter, their info is as far as they know. I like reading this stuff, you can't be perfect in life.. and defiantly not with 18-22 year old kids.

That kind of made sense to me as well. I think he likes UT and said he needed to talk to mom. I think a coach had to almost follow him home to try and get mom on board. We shall see if it works.

I appreciate some people feel the need to defend me for whatever reason. With that said, im not worried what anyone thinks of me and would advise the rest of you the same. Like ive said many times, people tend to forget the positives but always remember the negatives and im fine with that.

As far as ecred goes? Couldnt care less. If i cared i would have jumped on the wagon with everyone else last year saying Byron Moore was going to Miami and a few others, but i knew better all along.

We have a passionate fanbase and i like to pass whatever info i can to those who follow recruiting. nothing more or nothing less.

This is so true, it happens in just about every where you go. Very few people remember the positives when some they don't like happens. He really is a "what have you done for me lately" world.

I'm not calling you out unlike some here believe. I made a statement that had me curious. You could be honestly legit and if you are I thank you for trying t relay info. Personally either way, I'm not that emotional about the recruiting forum. I feel the Rivals rankings and Scout rankings are a joke and that a great coach will find great players no matter what.

But here is my question for you...

Do you think Dooley has what it takes to be a head coach RIGHT NOW for us since you've obviously spent time with him?
