GatorDeputy, I thought about you 4 weeks ago when I drove from Bristol, Tennessee to West Palm Beach...we stopped and ate at a Cracker Barrell near St Augustine and I remember you had said that was where you worked...keep up with this young man and let us know when you will be in Knoxville to watch our Vols...stay safe and go Vols!

Yep Rote, I work for St Johns SO. St Augustine is where our office is.

I'll definitely keep up with Nate. His mom has my email address and we are going to keep in touch. I'll make it up there one day to see Nate play.

I'm going to do my best to stay safe. This has been a rough weekend, A detective from our neighboring county was shot and killed at a meth house, and his partner shot and injured. He was just buried Monday. Heck of a turnout. The line of vehicles was about 11 miles long. Please keep his family and his brothers and sisters at Clay County SO in your thoughts or prayers.

Thanks for the comments folks. I appreciate them more than you know.

Just the other day our Drug unit and Swat team was serving a search warrant on a suspected Meth house. They turned 3 pit bulls loose on our guys, and one of out Swat guys got bit. All three dogs were shot, one escaping into the woods.

It's getting crazy with this meth crap. Two guys were arrested and luckily the only injury was the bite.

Can't wait till I can retire!

This country is upside down. There seems to be more of them than you out there.

I am convinced that one reason that they do not want to close the borders is because of the profits made on the drug trade in this country. The politicians could care less about the safety of the public.

QUESTION: Which early enrollee are you most excited to follow during spring practices?


ANSWER: Chris Nee: Nathan Peterman at Tennessee. I think he will position himself to be firmly in the battle to back-up Tyler Bray at Tennessee. He is an ultra-competitive kid with a high football IQ and the physical ability to make plays. Like any freshman, especially at quarterback, spring will be a learning experience with some hard lessons but I expect him to show flashes of his ability at times as well.

Yeah Peterman is a big freshman. And Sentimore looks like what I expect UT D-linemen to look like. Looks like the punisher for our D-line. I want to see what Saulsberry, T.Taylor, Carson, and J.Williams look like.

I said it after I saw his Jr. film & re-stated it after I saw his Sr. film, we flat out got a steal in Peterman. Kid is going to be good.
