With Dooley, we're competing with Vandy/KY/MSU/Ole Miss, not UA, FLA, and LSU.

You may call it stupidity, but we are alot closer to being the team he describes than a competative football team. Vandy, Ole Miss, UK, MSU are the teams we are now fighting with for last in the SEC. When your best hope is to keep within 3 TD's vs better SEC teams, it's not the best of times.

Gotta say, I really like O'Brien but damn if we don't seem to be snake bit when it comes to signing DT's.

That's what I was talking about. I don't understand why these guys aren't jumping on the opportunity here. I understand when people says kids want to win but if teams like UA, LSU, and UF are stacked at those positions why not go where you can get into the rotation. If a kid is a true fan and just wants to go to his favorite school then that it different. They will sit several years and wait their turn.

Amen. We have put kids in the league from the DL. Henderson haynesworth Ellis ayers. And recently Dan Williams was a first rounder in the 2010 draft. And this yr Malik should go fairly high.

And we have PT!!!

Don't count Shanks out just yet. He is one smart kid and I know he will think this through. Instant PT vs. being behind 11 DT's is pretty easy...especially in a bigger house with twice as many fans and most importantly in the SEC.

I saw Shanks drive two big O lineman back at least 10 yds, put them both on their back, tackle the RB, and turn around flexing like superman. Justin is exactly what we need.

You have to make McCullers priority 1 imo. We need the full court press brought to him right here and now. McCullers is a must get and I think we hold the upper hand in his recruitment right now as it stands.

Shanks over McCullers. I want at least a 3 year guy and possibly a 4th. With McCullers not being an EE it hurts his chances of contributing a lot his first year.
