Isn't Loften (IF he qualifies, which I hope he does for his sake; he's sure tried damn hard) a 2010'er? He's backcounted to that class, no? I'm not sure if we need to "bump him" if we take the full 26 this year. Can anyone confirm?

I dont agree. Besides Moore (who we will definitely still take) , in this position of need, who are we on thats higher rated than Lanier?

Hopefully this is more an indication that they are passing on Loften, rather than losing ground with Moore, because for some reason I want Moore more than Loften.

Loften can still come in, but not be counted towards this class, since he doesn't have the criteria met, correct?

Yeah, I saw it on another site that Lanier supposedly tried to commit to Ole Miss yesterday, but he was turned away because they have run out of room. They also had a few Juco DB's, all of which were mid-term guys.

They have run out of room mostly die in part to Nutt flipping like 3-4 MSU recruits. Talk about a bad month for MSU, they have lost 3-4, and a 4* WR is reportedly on the verge of bouncing for Arky if the Hogs have room.

Not sure I like the idea we were his second choice. But then again, maybe it puts a chip on his shoulder.

Not sure what you mean exactly. If Tennessee takes Loften, he would count toward this class. His will likely enroll somewhere in August.

Told Rivals that Tennessee recruited him harder than anyone else (Terry Joseph) and they made it apparent how much they wanted him.
