That would leave us with one spot for Anderson/Maggitt/Turene/Dawson if I'm doing my math correctly, right?

I don't believe Moore or Loften will be a part of this class.

I'd drop Carson and take Wright along with Moore and Dawson

Tiny, Clear, Lane, Wright, Dawson. Will make room for Moore if he commits.

Pretty sure he's 3 to play 3. Spots are definitely open for AR, Clear, and Dawson. Those are given, IMO. I think that leaves Moore, Maggitt, Anderson, Orta, Johnson (likely an s&p guy), Loften, Lane and Wright on the board of takes.

I don't think Orta will be apart of this class give Lanier's commitment and our standing with Moore. It will be interesting to hear what the services think about this commitment (i.e. Loften not likely to make it in or we are losing ground Moore).

I'm not the foremost authority on weights, but I think this kid is right.

Lanier is listed at 190, Moore at 205. That puts more closer to the 215 that Dooley quoted that he'd like to see the S position players carrying around with them.

However, this is just from me following UT this year. Anyone with actual competitive football experience lend anything on secondary position weights?

You don't turn down Dawson or Moore. If Maggitt wanted to commit, I think all he!! would break lose. You make room for a player like him.

Um, anytime you have a chance to get an 4* JUCO who is (should be) able to impact your roster the next season, you take it. IMHO. A 4* JUCO is almost never a strike out, at least not until hindsight is factored.

I wouldn't be surprised if we know where Dawson, Moore, and Maggitt are going after this weekend. I know Maggitt wants to announce on Feb 3rd, but that might not be an option anymore. This is a GREAT time of the year!!!

It just sounded like before this that we had a lot more guys higher on our board that we had a good chance with. Who knows.
