'11 MI WR DeAnthony Arnett - UT Commit

Alot of people may view Arnett to Boise as a crazy idea but if you really think about it...it does make alot of sense. They throw the ball alot, Boise is always in the hunt for a title and are in the news alot. He could go there, be the star while building up huge numbers and still be very attractive to an NFL team. I would love to get him to UT, but I would rather see Boise than USC.

They don't care about filling needs. Even while Kiffin was here he said you just go after the best players and sign them.

Some USC fans seem to think he's still a Vol lock after his visit. I'm not as confident on this one as i once was.

Why would you not be confident if the USC fan base feels he's a lock for us? I'd be worried if it was the other way around.

Baggett is a big key. He's known the kid since he was in middle school. Baggett has to stay in his ear.

Still don't understand why Arnett is considering USC. Dude's going to wait atleast two years or more and quite frankly they're going to recruit over him regardless. He would start here from Day one and be an impact player here while turning things around. He's going to be playing with players and coaches that don't care. Also, it wouldn't surprise me if Kiffin wasn't there by his senior year.

From ESPN today:

DeAnthony Arnett (Saginaw, Mich./Saginaw) took his final official visit to USC this past weekend and the talented receiver has eliminated one school, as well as set his announcement date.

Arnett will decide between three programs on Nov. 11.

"He has eliminated Cal and is down to USC, Tennessee and Michigan State," DeAnthony's brother Ralph Arnett said. "Right now, DeAnthony is pretty confident in his decision but hasn't told any of us yet and I don't even know what he's going to do."

I don't like the fact that he's eliminated Cal. Why do that unless a silent to USC. It's all good though. It's almost time for In-home's...

I think he's still a VOL; too many coincidences between November 11 and Hubbs' earlier statements. Maybe he's just trying to divert peoples attention in Michigan until he makes his decision to make it a little easier on himself. Well, maybe I'm digging too deep on that one...
