The obvious love that Couch, Posey, Martin, and others have for all things UT makes me real excited about the future! I love those young men for bleeding orange!!
Miller staying at de is more likely to happen. Hughes hadn't shown anything lately to make him consistent enough to start. Hughes may stay in the two deep.

Who knows what's going to happen but Malik is our best option at both positions. I can actually see him playing both.

It may sound cheesy now, but if you think of the kind of impact Cam Newton had on the offense and Fairley had on defense...I personally think Couch's decision to play for the Vols will have a major impact on this team's ability to sneak up on the SEC (the way Saban did with Bama just 2yrs in, and Auburn did this year as well). No, thank you. You are clearly a Volnation favorite and you make it easy for us to feel that way. I can not wait for the fall. :loco:

With Couch and Hughes starting, DT could be a strength, for the first time in years. Now, if we could luck out with both G. Wright and Mickey Johnson (pray he qualifies).
Malik was our best tackle. It's hard to imagine him moving back outside. Let's hope Montori decides to play like he is capable of.
He will this spring, but I think Couch + Wright (and perhaps Mickey Johnson too) in this class would send him back to starting DE.
I don't think a freshmen dt will find it's way into the starting rotation this year. Maybe two deep. Only reason freshmen started this year was because there was no choice. Linemen usually need time to develop to able to play in the sec.
