Thanks...:hi:...

Edit: Were the players in 06 and 08 that you listed ranked that way from the beginning or is that where they ended up?

I ask because Fisher was a JUCO and I've never seen Rivals rank a JUCO before October...I also ask because I truly expect Smith to eventually be a 5.8, Posey to possibly be a 5.8, and Power, Worley and Randolph to be 5.7's...

I think that would drastically change some peoples opinion of our current class

The way I have it figured, using the star power from each class for first 7 players:

2006- 24 total star power
2008- 22 total star power
2011- 21 total star power(giving Power a BOTD 3* rating)

I agree. I think it's going a little too slow, in my opinion, but I think this class will shape up nicely.

Tom Smith will hopefully earn a 4th star in his Senior year, and the same with Brian Randolph. Heck, Worley might could possibly, too (though not likely).

They guys we have committed now will look MUCH better come NSD.

Why does it matter if they "earn" another star?

The guys can play or they can't.

Georgia should finish 2nd in the East this year, but if they don't, South Carolina will have more to do with it than UT.

If UGA is 1-2 after the first 3 games their season will be over. That could happen with 2nd game at USC a team that is better and they got lucky to beat last year and then return home to play ARK who also gave them a hard time last year. They also could drop a game to UT, UK, or Colorado in the middle and I would wager they drop 3 of their last 4 games. UF, @Auburn and GT. At best I see them finishing 7-5 overall and 4-4 in conference, if they are lucky. If UT gets them again they finish 6-6 and 3-5. Think their dream team sticks around.

Remember if UGA does have a poor season all the recruits that have or might commit to UGA will probably go elsewhere. Which bodes really well for all the ones UT got into their final group.

I would love to see nothing more than a UGA meltdown. We would be in prime position to snag a couple really good recruits. It is very possible for that to happen. If Dooley could pull a huge win against them (even if we still don't have the greatest record just be 7-5 making progress and beat UGA) that could speak volumes to the direction of the programs.

Star power sounds hilarious. TOS should do articles on star power.

If we beat GA this year their ubber team will evaporate.

GEEEE I thought Chuck Smith was on this dude, hooked him up with Strahan and stuff.

That was Drew...but CS is all over Wright and this one is nowhere near over...

Every week there is a new rumor about who his favorites are...we're very much in this one

“Auburn is still on top, but Alabama is very close to them now,” said the number 10 defensive tackle in the country. “I still really like Tennessee a lot, especially the defense that they are going to run, so they are third, and Georgia is fourth.”Clemson with my brother soon, so I am going to keep looking at all of my options.”

I just don't understand the infatuation with Auburn. I guess I'm just wearing orange glasses.

They're heading in the right direction currently and recruiting pretty well. I can see the attraction there. I'm just wondering how well Chizick will do once Gus M finds a better job.

CSS is going to need time. People seem to think DL kids are just going to jump to play for him.

All I see is kids love him but he still cant push into the top with those kids enough to pull them away. Give him a season to coach these kids up and have a longer established relationship and he should do better, I hope.

Cheesestick will be little more than a pinata for Saban.

It seems that the only people who believe what CMR is selling is the fans.

My nephew goes to Carver(basketball/track) and NO matter how the AJC tries to make it seem like everything is "roses" with Pups and Mcgee it's not....trust me UGA won't get any of those kids this year. Gabe(Barn/UT) and Crowell(Bama/FSU) not sure about the two OL... Mcgee doesn't push his kids either way but he does 'forget" phone calls. lol Sounds like Weiner at Plant w/UF.

That's what I'm wondering...how much of that turnaround has to do with Malzahn and how will it affect Chiznik after he moves up?
