Just watched the vid and he does talk highly of UT. CS was the first and only position coach he mentioned and every time mentioned UT to answer a question he would show more excitement than talking about the rest. If CS stays on him I see a huge relationship forming. CS and Wilcox could turn this kid into a monster.

You can understand why he speaks highly of Chuck Smith. If you have a chance to review the players that Chuck has coached in the NFL....that list is very impressive.

Hmmm. Are we slow playing this kid, or is he just "buds" with CCS? Maybe CDD is pulling a Kiffin and telling this kid to fool the nation and announce UT by surprise.

This is what I was talking about the Dream Team and how it appeals to all the instate recruits in GA. This comes from an artilce where J Vaughters just named his top five and cut out 3 schools.

And they seem to be looking to get all the top players in Georgia to put together a team that can win a national championship. Their Dream Team concept makes sense to me.”

The "dream team" thing sure will be a hard sell when a couple of top 10 Georgia prospects commit to other schools. What will the pitch be then? The quasi dream team?

This kid has done a good job at telling each site what they want to hear for their team.. Auburn and Bama have always been at the top and will be tough to beat, esp. if Crowell goes to Bama which seems to be a close reality.

no. we always been probably 3rd or 4th for him. it will take time to work him.

This. However, I think over time, UT will end up as the team to beat as his relationship with Chuck Smith continues to get stronger. It is going to be a dogfight for him until he signs on NSD.

i agree. chuck smith and the chance to see the field early are 2 things that will be hard to pass up. in fact, he would be an idiot to pass them up, imo.

Wright had some very interesting things to say about UT recently (Austin Price article on Rivals). He said that he is planning another trip up, and that Chuck Smith has been in his ear. Perhaps most interesting was where he mentioned that he was supposed to be coming up for 5 days later this month, but his coach wanted them all to go to this "stupid Auburn camp." He then went on to say how messed up that was.

Perhaps more cryptic...he's been playing as UT on the Playstation...he can't get to the National Championship, though, because he can't get past the SEC championship game...sounds familiar.

I think if CCS stays on Wright he will end up wearing a power T on his FB helmet next year. CCS is going to prove to be a force to reckon with in recruiting in the future. IMO

Yeah they created their own Tiger Prowl that was called the Dream Team that sent like 7+ coaches to each school and showed each player how the class would look if the top players in state would sign with UGA. They told them where they each would play and where the other ones would also play and how it would be for UGA to have them all together and that it would be the top class in the country if they all signed with UGA.

Sad part is, IF they do sign the top players in ga, they could easily make a run for the top spot in recruiting. Ga is loaded this year but look for Wright and maybe Crowell to go to bama although their coach is an aubie and makes sure they all give the aub's a looksie. If ga has a good year, I look for Crowell to go to ga. Can we get them as a package deal to UT?

This is great news. I'm glad that UT's staff has clearly made this guy a priority.

There is nothing wrong with being optimistic.

Crowell has stated Auburn is nice but not for him. His coach wanted him to attend Big Cat weekend and he did not go. GW has actually surprised me. We have seemed to back off, but he could be both side doing that and after spending 3 days at Auburn I have not seen one quote from him about them being in the lead. Not like a few months ago. So apparantly BCW did not go to well as Barn fans were hoping. It also looks very clear now that they are not a package deal. That does not mean they will not end up together but they are visiting schools together anymore either. I would say UGA/UA for Crowell and UT/UA for GW with UT maybe having the best shot right now.

I agree. In the long run, however, its hard to give reasons not to go to UA. I hope we stay on him.
