Gabe Wright would be an enormous pickup. A true need position where he could see the field as a True Freshman at a tradition rich school like UT and be coached by Chuck Smith and Justin Wilcox. Hopefully this kid becomes a Vol!

He would indeed be a huge pickup, DT is the only position I am concerned with ATM.

Man, James Bryant is killing it with Recruiting info and stories right now. Hubbs does a great job also, but JB is putting in some major work right now for us recruting maniacs lol.:)

ok so yes by most of your standards i was facebook stalking. but you can either criticise that or i can tell you some pretty interesting stuff i saw. so whats it going to be?

Just read he loved his visit and has us in his top 5, said visit was PERFECT!!! GO VOLS!!!:rock:

he went and tried on jerseys and everything. saw the nfl pros jersey room. had a long conversation on fb about one picture of him wearing a jersey(#90) and flexing the guns. raved about it and in a conversation there was mentioning of him playing there. he said yea but im guessing he was joking in a way that was meant to be a joke, yet at the same time, a real possibility. he and im assuming it was his mom loved the trip. met bruce pearl. went in the stadium, which by the way looked kinda crappy because all the paint was fading and the grass did not look very green. sat at the conference table "but by no means a mock conference like kiffin would have done." pictures of him next to a dinosaur?(in the mountains i assume) ate dinner at calhouns and once again raved about it to a buddy(maybe another teammate but was not crowell) saying he will bring him on his next trip.

We still have a lot of work to do but this sounds very promising. I have always said UT has had one of the prettiest campus's and I am not just saying that because I am a fan. The biggest problem is just getting the people up here to see it. Great news......GOVOLS......

no prob and believe me im right there with yea. i think though in order to really get the last word with this kid, we are gonna have to make an effort at crowell, which based on his skills shouldnt be hard for us to try and do. the two seem prettty close.
