I believe that he and baty are two that will be given a scholly based on first few games of theres or if Bray says no then we will have to jump on one of them.

Baty is not close to a UT QB and never will be sorry if thats who we get then that will be a huge let down

Of course being from Portland you have a first hand account of what is goin on in Florida high school football. Thanks for letting us know that he sucks, can you please alert the coaching staff of your profound knowledge?

Dude is a backup QB on his HS team. Its not hard to tell he's not that great.

How many other good players were backups their senior year?

Well believe it or not in Portland we have this Internet thing and I found numerous articles and stat sheets showing that Baty was not even a starter on his High School team. So you got any other genius things you want to say?

Grayson has 2 losses so far, but stats look nice.
Anybody know if we are still looking at him, or if we are going to wait until 2011 for our next qb? If we aren't interested, who gets him?

Week 1: Heritage QB Garrett Grayson had 248 yards passing and 3 TD.

Week 2: Garrett Grayson had 431 yards of total offense and 2 TD, 328 yards passing, 103 yards rushing with a passing and rushing TD.

The first game was against one of the best teams in WA. I believe they were ranked 2 after the win. His team is basically all about him. He had many dropped passes from what I read. Arm strength improved after spring and summer work.

+1. Would love to bring him and Bray in the Spring and let them duke it out. As far as I'm concerned, if Stephens is no better an alternative than Crompton, then the lion's share of snaps in hte Spring need to go to Lamaison and the Freshman/Freshmen. this season is one long try out for Stephens. Any Freshman in the fall needs a greater share than normal in order to get up to speed in ASAP in the system

It was painful to watch offense this weekend. In some cases there miscommunications that caused in-completes but the turnovers were ridiculous.

I really like this guy for our 2nd QB in this class. His stats from last night:

passing: 15-25 138 yards
rushing: 8 carries 59 yards and a TD
receiving: 1 catch 20 yards and a TD

Looks like a great athlete with good accuracy.

Bumping this one up,looks like we lost the love for Grayson.But I still think we should take him as the 2nd QB.

Not sure if we even need to look in this kid's direction. We got Bray. Move onto 2011

If we were to offer another QB (which at this moment looks very unlikely) this guy would be my top choice for us. Very accurate, mobile, intangibles, full package IYAM. If he were to come here, I believe he would Bray a heck of a challenge, and maybe even win out.
