'10 GA OLB Michael Taylor

Seriously guys... He's going to win more games at FL. He's going to have a greater chance at winning a championship at FL. If he starts, he'll have a better chance at getting drafted at FL. Stop being jealous morons.

Haahahahahahahahahahaha omg how embarrassing. Ignorance isn't always bliss guy

I just refuse to question a recruit's intelligence for choosing the more attractive option (given that playing time wasn't a priority).

I don't begrudge a recruit for choosing what they believe to be best. I do not question a recruit's intelligence for believing another offer is a more attractive offer. In fact, I didn't do that.

I questioned you- not the recruit.

I'll question their intelligence when, at the tme, there plenty of red flags warning these kids not to believe Meyer...

Hard to trust a coach after something like this happens. UT should have Gerald Jones call Taylor and tell him how he went from being skeptical of Dooley to wishing he had 4 more years to give him.

How am I not a true fan for thinking that the situation at Florida will be better than the situation at Tennessee over the next few years? I hope that we win in the swamp next year. I hope that Florida is irrelevant for the next 100 years. I just don't think it will happen with the talent that they have and the talent that they will get.

That's actually true. Thanks for pointing it out. Meyer has a long history of not quite telling the truth when lying suits his agenda better. Ask Utah fans.

Lol, that is true. I remember the Utah website with all of his broken promises.

If you've ever been to Gainesville and think it is a more attractive option, I question your sanity and intelligence. Florida football is a novelty item with no tradition and is located exactly where the enema tip would go if they gave the whole state a colonic.

There is a chance that Taylor could graduate in a matter of weeks and enroll at Tennessee.

"I hope to find out on Thursday," Taylor said. "I'm waiting on the status of an online class and another elective credit. It's crunch time. I'm working hard in the classroom and in the weight room. I want to be ready whenever I get to Tennessee."

"I know where I'm going," Taylor said. "I just entertain them, other coaches. I tell them that I'm solid to Tennessee. I've made the right decision."

How's the decision making lately Mikey? Gator chomp.

Burn of the year. Hats off to you, sir. :hi:

Because the decisions of the very players that will or won't make one situation better or not are what we are discussing. Taylor and others like him choose UT then suddenly the situation at UF IS NOT better. See?

So you give a salute to the perpetuation of the thing that you say you don't want?

It is the players in this instance that make the situation better. What is "better" about the situation if guys like Taylor choose UT rather than UF?

Lol, people bash the kid for de-committing after a coaching search, but it's exactly what they want UF's commitments to do now.

Not so fast home boy.

My beef with little Mikey is that he spouted off to Scout, Rivals, etc. about how he was solid to Tennessee because they were the first ones to show him "love" because they gave him attention when nobody else would. How he was gonna be one of the building blocks and as soon as he did well in his all-star game and Florida gave him a whiff he (based on today's news) dropped his drawers and took one deep up the back-side.

He sold us out and now he's grabbing his ankles.

Gator chomp!

I see what you're saying and agree with it. I would make the argument that there are enough talented recruits to make up for the loss of one, but what if Taylor becomes an absolute monster? Bad things for us.

Maybe true, maybe not true, but they did lose 5 games this year (so far) and probably had more talent than every one of those 5 teams that beat them, excepting maybe Bama. :hi:

IMHO, Taylor's recruitment by UF had less to do with his value as a player as it did Meyer's hatred for Kiffin.
