Florida has had it's share of above average players who left HS as 3 stars. One in particular was quite a thorn in UT's side.
as i saw on another thread recently, most gators come on here to get the latest news on our coach and to get an inside track on which of our recruits are being stolen.
I have a bad feeling about Taylor. Just sucks that we showed him love when everyone else ran away, he wins an MVP in an All-Star game, and now wants 'greener pastures' it seems.
nothing but cold hard facts over here, which is why I like it here so much.We all know that you can't believe what most gators post on their own site.:good!:
This weekend, Taylor decided to make a visit to Gainesville, Florida and check out the University of Florida Gators. The Gators have a desperate need at linebacker moving forward and have hired two linebacker coaches in defensive coordinator George Edwards and outside linebacker coach D.J. Durkin to coach and recruit the position. "Man I'm telling you I love it,” Taylor said Saturday during the trip. “My mom and I gotta talk. She is here that's why it's so big. She loves it and she is my inspiration."
We really can't afford to lose anymore LB's.
I like Micheal Taylor, don't get me wrong here! I think he's an outstanding athlete, hard worker, and based on his comments about his mom he seems to be a good kid!
BUT, if he is serious about his trip to Florida, and intends to be a Gator, then all of the Great Monte Kiffin, and Lance Thompson love was bs.
It's a similar situation with Nuke, he never really wanted to be a Gator, or he would have gone to UF, pure and simple. We didn't drug, hypnotize, or do anything illegal to get Nuke, he wanted to come here! It didn't work out like we hoped, but still!
If MT goes, I won't be mad at Florida, it's on Michael because he didn't want to come here. And I won't be here saying "we didn't want him anyway" because we do, BADLY! But if he's not a VOL, he never will be!
Hope he stays, but if he doesn't UT will live on!
