'10 GA OLB Michael Taylor

Well there are a bunch of clowns that took hook line and sinker when they hear it. So why not help them out..........

This one will be very interesting. A good friend in his ear, a better education, and he seems to like the attention. Not as solid as we think, though will probably still end up a Vol!

monte kiffin. depth chart. closer to home. ed orgeron had in-home. visiting Knoxville in January. I like those odds...

I agree Lord Vader, plus why would he go to ND when he doesn't even have them on his list. I've been to both Scout and Rivals and he doesn't even have ND on his list.

He has too good of a relationship with Lance and Monte to jump ship to Notre Dame. He didnt have much hype early in the recruiting process so now that he is a hot commodity he is going to enjoy the limelight some. That is it.

this post isn't intended to start message board drama but the Gainesville Sun's recruiting correspondent Edward Ashcoff is saying his source told him that the "mystery recruit" that visited Florida yesterday was none other than current Vol commit Michael Taylor. He's also saying he had a great time and is talking with his parents about whether to stick with Tennessee.

forgot to add that part on, huh?

Mike Taylor will be a very good player but if he decides to turn into a headcase, which I don't think he will, then he can GTFO.

you add that part in there like it is some kind of Revelation....
I would think that ANY kid who was recruited by UF would enjoy their visit and isn't that what ALL committed recruits do...talk to their parents about whether they want to stick with their original choice?

Has anyone ever said they had a terrible time?

I fear UF on this one.

No question UF has a special draw with location and recent history. But if I am an LB recruit and I have a choice of playing for Monte Kiffin or... ummm... ummm.... Who was that UF DC again?

Seriously. If the kid's goal is to have a short trip to spring break then UF is his place. If he wants to go from a prospect only UT felt good about to the NFL then he should stick with Monte.

I can only hope he sees it that way.

The main thing is here he plays early. Starts as a sophmore almost as a guarantee. He might start as a freshmen if we have an injury or two like we did this year. At UF he will not play his first couple years in all likely hood. He might be a RS as a freshmen there.

That last sentence Swampy just threw in there to stir up the pot.

I am a Mike Taylor fan and I think and hope he still makes it to us.....but it frustrates me how he was ALL VOL and was trying hard to get some classes done and make it on campus for EE, then he makes 3 tackles (1 for a loss) in the UA game and gets player of the game. Now, it seems like he's all of a sudden looking around now that he's getting some recognition while we have been on him since day one.

so florida has one spot left and they are gonna take michael taylor over all those recruits higher?? what dumbasses

It's smart on his part to explore his options.
