'10 GA OLB Michael Taylor

If you don't think star ratings matter to these kids, just look at Taylor. He was out to prove he could play last week and he did. When you look this good in a UA game, suitors are just a part of the deal. I don't think anyone is comfortable with his quote on TOS or his ESPN comments but I do have tremendous faith in this staff. No one is a lock until NSD.

not me. i got a bad vibe about this kid.(committment wise)

If I hadnt watched the game this weekend I would too. And the Challenge the night before. After he ran the obstacle course you could hear him in the background shouting "Tennessee" and "UT baby, UT". And during the game he said hes going to take UT to the title and be a freshman AA.

If he was wavering he wouldnt be touting UT to the other players. I think this kid is all Vol. Normally I am skeptical but Taylor to me seems like a very good kid and the type to stick no matter what pressure he has on him.

ND is late to the game and a new staff, not sure that nor Jones is enough to sway him at this point. Plus if hes so tight with his family ND is a long way from home.

If there is one prospect we cannot afford to lose it is Michael Taylor. That would leave us with just Ralph Williams, who himself has stated he has interest elsewhere. With all that being said, it is a possibility that we could go "0 for" on LB 's and Safeties in the 2010 class. Considering how hard this staff has recruited, not a good situation.

Just to keep you guys in the loop from the "enemy" side, Steve Wiltfong just posted that ND offered him yesterday. He was pretty excited. Will have an in-home visit from Kiffen today and Brian Kelly will be back in theAtlanta area to try and see Taylor next week.

yeah i don't think ND gets him.....

Kelly < Kiffin (in terms of recruiting)

Kelly will get him. It will take a big effort from Lance and Monte to keep him here :hmm:

IMO he is just keeping his options open and listening..people kept trying to tell him Lance was going to Louisville and clearly that is not the case now that they have a DC...Lance is here to stay and so is Taylor IMO..will be a VOL in the end

Brian Kelly has a long way to go in recruiting studs like Taylor. Will those who started Taylor to ND crap be put to sleep!

yeah it is not like Kelly pulled any Defensive studs to Cincy...and Taylor is not stupid to pass up Monte and Lance for the former Cincy Bearcat DC...He just wants to see the campus which I would think anyone here that had a chance at a free visit to ND would take it to see it one time

Based on what?

Tradition?

He's on NBC every week and gets the chance to avenge the losses to Navy and USC?

Big deal.

Academics? A degree is only worth what you put into it.

The Pros?

Can Brian Kelly sell that he's better than anyone on our staff in prepping players for the next level? I doubt it.

The only way he goes to ND is if that's where he's wanted to go all along, IMO.

Let's ask this question Nash: Who the heck is on Kelly's coaching staff and do they have the pedigree to recruit top prospects? All I know that whoever is left on Cincy's coaching staff that he wants does not have the portfolio of studs not higher than three stars.

yeah I def agree...i think I may have came off sarcastic on my last post but I was actually agreeing with you because there is no way in heck Taylor chooses their DC over Monte and Lance

Just decommited and going to ND..................................................North Dakota
