'10 GA OLB Michael Taylor

I don't see any reason why this kid shouldn't move up to a 4* by the end of his season. I think they have him a little underrated at 3*.

It's because of his size I'm sure...it's not for his lack of talent that's for certain. Once he adds 20 pounds or so he's going to be a monster.

espn has him in the espn 150 but that b/c he is playing in the game and they hype up their players but i do see him being a 4 star on rivals

where is the list of espn Army game? And is the UA list out yet?

Not sure about the AA game...but there is an icon beside the players names on the espn 150 showing if they are playing in the UA game.

I think the knock on Taylor (being not a 4 star) is his pass defense ability. He plays downhill like a mad man...which is not a bad thing...just not a complete lb...but i do think he gets his 4th star on rivals before nsd.

Just watched this kid's highlight film and HE IS BAD! Flies downhill and absolutely smacks kids in the mouth. I'm excited about this kid.

I really think he will get a 4th star, or this LB class is rather weak then.

Yeah...cause Lord knows that 4th star tells it all about the strength of this LB class and what they actually do on the field means nothing

Aaron Curry (2star), Patrick Willis (2star), James Lauranaitas (3star), Demeco Ryans (3star), and Paul Posluszny (3star) all say HI!

Exactly. I really don't understand why these recruiting services don't rank these kids by their offers...just makes no sense. Taylor has an offer from basically every program in the southeast yet he's just a mediocre ol' 3 start. Riiiiiiight.

Guys, u misunderstood. I believe Taylor is a very good LB that is underrated. Im saying when a top ten linebacker in the nation is only a 3 star it tells u that this LB class is not well thought of compare to other previous classes.

guys I beleive Taylor is vastly underrated , i watched his espn video, he going to be a force to be reckoned with, we got a really good one

Difficult to compare because they would play different positions.

Might be correct. I was assuming they both stayed at MLB. Luc would be a mean SLB though...

At MLB I think Taylor is the better fit. Quicker side to side and better in pass coverage which is what Monte wants at the position. It isn't like Taylor can't lay the wood either. His film is very impressive...

Taylor has an impressive film. Just wondering about the competition.
Secondly, when we get a MLB that Monte likes, that can really run this defense, we will see Monte's total defense in action.

I think we're starting to see some of those looks. esp. yesterday and I think its because Frazier has big time wheels...
